BunkWise Terms of Service

Welcome to BunkWise ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms of service. Please review them carefully.

1. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use BunkWise on mobile devices owned or controlled by you, strictly for your personal, non-commercial educational scheduling purposes.

Under this license you may not:

• Modify, copy, decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the App's compiled source code.
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notations from the App.
• Use the App or its database contents for any commercial profit extraction.

2. Data Privacy & Control

BunkWise is built on a local-first architecture:

• Local Operations: All schedules, statistics, goals, and notes are processed and stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for backing up your data using the App's JSON export utility.
• Google Drive Sync: When enabling the optional Google Drive sync feature, note files are transferred directly between your device and your personal Google account. We do not host, check, or intermediate this connection.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

BunkWise is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property.

Specifically, we do not warrant that:

• The attendance analytics, target calculators, or schedules will be 100% error-free.
• Alarm notification hooks will fire perfectly under all Android battery optimization profiles.

4. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall the developer or BunkWise be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of academic standing, missed classes, or notification failures) arising out of the use or inability to use the App, even if notified of the possibility of such damage.

5. Revisions and Errata

The materials appearing in the App could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. We do not promise that any of the materials in the App are accurate, complete, or current. We may make changes to the App at any time without notice.

6. Terms of Service Modifications

We may revise these terms of service at any time without notice. By using the App, you are agreeing to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms of Service.
